Ten Reasons to stay at Fermanagh Lodges in 2024

January is here and it’s time to start thinking about your family holiday in 2024. Why not book a stay with us here at Fermanagh Lodges? Check out our top 10 reasons to stay with us in 2024!
We offer a wide range of self catering accommodation options, located across two sites, less than Β½ a mile apart. We have accommodation options for groups of two, four or eight people, and can accommodate groups of up to 30. Check out Cygnet Lodge, Bluebell and Blackberry Cottages, Primrose Cottage, Woodland Lodges and Tree Top Apartments for more information.

Number 1 – Family Friendly Accommodation

All members of your family are most welcome and we have provided a cot and a high chair in all of our accommodation for tiny toots, as well as ramp access and a (downstairs) bedroom and bathroom for older family members who prefer not to sleep upstairs anymore. There is also a small playpark located on our main site.Β

Number 2 – Pets Welcome!

We are pet friendly! You can’t go on holiday without your pets (who, lets be honest, are probably your favourite family member) so all of our accommodation is pet friendly at no extra charge. We just ask that they do not go in the bedrooms or upstairs, and that you clean up after your furry friends, both inside, and outside on the grounds.

Number 3 – Upper Lough Erne

All our accommodation has access to beautiful Upper Lough Erne. Wander down to the lakeshore to enjoy the morning sun, or venture in for a swim. Keep an eye out for our resident red squirrels, pine marten or even an elusive otter!

Number 4 – Complimentary Sit on top Kayaks

From April to September all bookings include complimentary sit on top kayaks, buoyancy aids and paddles. These are the best way to experience Upper Lough Erne, and a great way to amuse big and little kids at no extra cost. They are self service so you are welcome to use them at anytime throughout your stay – the Fermanagh weather permitting, of course!

Number 5 – Private Marina

Bring your boat with you! We have a private 30 berth marina, so you can bring your boat on your holidays with you. Whether it is to go fishing and catch some giant pike, or blow the cobwebs off with a water-ski, you can bring your boat along and put it into our marina at no extra cost. Our nearest slipway is Corradillar Quay, located 500 yards from Fermanagh Lodges.

Number 6 – Wood Burning Stove

Sit back and relax and light the fire. All of our accommodation has wood burning stoves. Included in your booking is a complimentary basket of logs, so you can relax after a busy day of holidaying in Co. Fermanagh.

Number 7 – Fully Equipped for Self Catering

All of our accommodation is fully equipped for self catering, so alongside a wide range of crockery and cutlery, we have also provided cling film, tin foil, bin bags, dishwasher tablets, salt, pepper, tea bags, coffee etc. so you just need to bring yourself and food.

Number 8 – BBQs and Outdoor Spaces

Light up the BBQ and sit outside in the sunshine.*
We have provided charcoal BBQs and ample outdoor furniture for you to sit out and enjoy the glorious Fermanagh weather and the lovely gardens at each accommodation. *Sunshine is not guaranteed – so we have also provided umbrellas or gazebos!

Number 9 – Price Freeze

We haven’t increased our prices for our Woodland Lodges from 2023 and do not intend to do so, to try and make your family holiday more affordable and reasonably priced.

Number 10 –Β Location, location, location!

We are ideally located for you to explore Co. Fermanagh and the surrounding area. Just 3 miles from Lisnaskea, which is a bustling town with all the shops you could need for your stay, as well as a host of visitor attractions within 20 minutes driving. Check out the information provided below on things to do!
