Available to Guests and the General Public
Using our Escape Catamarans, which hold 2 to 3 people max., explore Upper Lough Erne by harnessing only the breeze!
Sailing can be delivered as a Skills Session or an Adventure Tour!
Skills Session:
- 2 hours duration
- Perfect for those who have never sailed before, this is a chance to conquer the basics and explore the lake with ease.
Adventure Tour:
- 4 hours duration
- This session is suitable for all abilities, however the aim is to go on an adventure to a nearby point of interest on the Lough. This session is designed with your wants and abilities at itβs centre!
- BBQ Lunch can be added to this session for Β£8pp.
Our fully qualified instructor will teach you the basics of how to read the wind and sail, before taking you on an adventure on Upper Lough Erne. This activity is suitable for persons aged 6 years and above, and groups of 2/3 people maximum. Children under 10 years old, must be accompanied by an adult on session.
All equipment is provided wetsuits (if desired, you can just wear waterproofs) and life jackets. Due to the coronavirus pandemic and extra cleaning measures, where possible we will ask you to use your own equipment i.e. if you have your own wetsuit, please wear it! You must also wear shoes, old trainers are perfect, which will get wet during your session.
Activities are weather dependent and in adverse weather conditions we may have to cancel or rearrange your activity.
Fermanagh Lodges is in a great location, as there is loads to visit on the lake! Explore Trannish Island, or wander down the waterway to Nann Island or sail over to the Watermill Restaurant. Weβll have a chat with you to find out what interests you most so we can visit it during your activity, if applicable.
