Primrose Cottage

Enjoy a lavish stay at Primrose Cottage, which can comfortably accommodate up to eight people and a baby in a cot, self catering. The cottage boasts a private garden area, with parking available for up to three cars. The gated site is set back 200 meters from the road, ensuring a safe environment for children and well-behaved pets. There is a large mown grass area for outdoor games and a children’s play area. An outdoor shed is provided for storing bikes, fishing equipment etc. and there is a private 30 berth marina located onsite.

 

Primrose Cottage is located on the same site as Bluebell and Blackberry Cottages, and the Woodland Lodges. It is located 1km away from Cygnet Lodge and the Tree Top Apartments.

 

Primrose Cottage was newly added in June 2023 to the Fermanagh Lodges portfolio.

Layout

Primrose Cottage is the ideal holiday destination for a family or group of friends. The ground floor features a double bedroom, a bathroom with a shower over the bath, and a utility room with a washing machine. The open-plan kitchen, living and dining area is spacious and modern, with fully equipped kitchens including integrated dishwashers, fridges with freezer boxes, microwaves, and ceramic hobs.

 

On the first floor, the master bedroom has a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom. Two twin bedrooms share a shower room. All of the bedrooms come with built-in wardrobes, and the cottage has a cot and high chair for families with young children.

 

The living area is designed to comfortably accommodate up to eight people, with plush lounge furniture, a wood-burning stove, and a smart TV**. French doors lead out onto a patio area, complete with outdoor chairs, a picnic table, and a charcoal barbecue. For an extra touch of luxury, guests can add a wood-fired hot tub to their booking, set up at the edge of the patio for their private use.

 

To ensure a hassle-free visit, all of the cottages are equipped with linen and towels, as well as basic supplies such as dishwasher tablets, bin bags, and cling film. Well-behaved pets are welcome, and guests bringing their own boats can leave them in the private marina located on-site. For added fun, the cottages come with complimentary sit-on-top kayaks, paddles, and buoyancy aids, available from April to September.

 

**Please note there is no live television available in this house, only catch up and a paid Netflix and Disney Plus account is included.

Pricing

Our prices include all bed linen and towels, electricity, central heating, basket of logs for the fire, wireless internet and the lodge is equipped with basic supplies such as cling film, tin foil, bin bags, fairy liquid, salt and pepper etc.

 

Primrose Cottage is a minimum hire of 2 nights, and at bank holidays and holiday periods 3 nights. During July and August Primrose Cottage has set check in and check out days of Mondays and Fridays.

 

Primrose Cottage is located on the same site as Bluebell and Blackberry Cottages and the Woodland Lodges, which combined are perfect for accommodating larger groups of up to 40 people. Cygnet Lodge and Tree Top Apartments are located on a different site 1km away, with capacity for a further 15 people.

MAKING A BOOKING

We will provisionally hold your booking request for seven days to allow time for you to complete our online booking form and pay a deposit or full balance.

 

If your stay is over four weeks away, a deposit of Β£100 is required to confirm your booking, with the remaining balance payable four weeks before your arrival date.

If your stay is within four weeks of your arrival date, the full balance is payable at the point of booking to confirm your stay.

 

A Β£100 security deposit is required alongside every booking, this is payable alongside your balance, before you come to stay. This is refundable on your departure provided the accommodation is left in a reasonable manner with no unnecessary breakages.

  • Such a hidden gem, the house is a great size, beautifully but comfortably decorated and in a stunning location. The house was so cosy and the log burning stove was great in the evening! Robyn has thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay. We couldn't have asked for more, we didn't want to come home! We loved the private woodlands and marina, my husband fished the lough numerous times during our stay. A fantastic place for a family holiday, I only wishe we had been staying longer!

  • We stayed for 4 nights in mid September in the newly built Oak Lodge. All furniture and furnishings are of the highest quality and the Lodge is equipped with everything you could need. A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and fridge freezer. Constant hot water, plenty of good quality cooking utensils and dishware and a utility room with a washer/dryer. The beds are very comfortable and although there is a wood burning stove we didn't need it as there are also radiators which heated the rooms very quickly. Wi-fi is also available. We were lucky to stay during good weather and the picnic style table and benches were great for eating outdoors. Dawn and Maeve are great hosts and strive to ensure a great stay for all their guests. We will certainly return.

  • Arrived for a 4 day fishing stay. On arrival we had the warmest of welcomes from Maeve, she was a hive of information and nothing was a bother for her. The house was furnished to the highest of standards and the most comfy bed I’ve ever slept in. Spotlessly clean and had everything you could ever need. Great location for fishing everything on your door step. The only down side is that I don’t want to go home. Thank you for letting us stay and we will definitely be back...if you’ll have us.   • We are just back from a 3 night stay in the newly built oak lodge. I can honestly say we had the best time here as a family with 2 children. The place was spotless with everything that we needed in the lodge. We spent most evenings on the patio with a BBQ going. We were only a short walk from the marina where we spent time in the mornings with our Paddle board and swimming ?‍ the kids loved jumping into the marina. We made use of a little boat for the day to explore the Lough (the kids loved learning to steer and navigate around the Lough) We will definitely be back to explore some more of the Lough. The owners were so helpful and nothing was a bother at all ? so helpful and friendly. If you want to getaway for some peace and tranquility then this is definitely the place to go. This will be somewhere we will return to time and time again. Thanks to all at Fermanagh lodges for making our staycation one remember. The kids are already asking when are we going back!

  • This is a great place to spend a relaxing weekend with family or friends. As usual the cottage was spotless, ready for our visit. The weather was very mild for the time of the year so the huge basket of logs left for us remained unburnt. Because we had stayed at Cygnet Lodge before, and knew how well equipped it is, we were able to travel light.   • We had 3 cottages for a week for a large (22 people) family get together. The houses were all lovely; clean, comfortable, well-equipped and incredibly spacious. A few stand-out features were: The beautiful master bedrooms with ensuite and large balcony. The large decking area, perfect for relaxing in the evening. The frankly huge living room/kitchen. And our particular favourite, the loughshore and jetty 5 mins walk away. A beautiful sunset over the lake every evening. Outdoor activities are available at the centre 5 minutes away, there are many fantastic sightseeing trips within an hour’s drive and for peace and quiet just sit on the balcony and chill out. The owners are friendly and very accommodating, helping to make it a wonderful holiday for everyone.

  • Just back from an amazing long weekend at Corradillar Cottages, Fermanagh Lodges. I was tasked with finding accommodaton for 22 people for a large family get together and it did not disappoint. We stayed in 3 of the cottages Bluebell, Blackberry and Badger as we had asked for 3 beside each other. Big thank you for accommodation us on that request. The houses where spotless and the decked areas the same. It was a great treat getting the use of the kayaks and the kids loved it. Overall an amazing family holiday with great memories.
