Woodland Lodges at Fermanagh Lodges – Relax by the Lakeside

Our Woodland Lodges — Elm, Oak, Pine, Willow, Poplar, and Birch — offer stylish, self-catering accommodation designed for comfort and relaxation, sleeping up to four guests, plus a baby in a travel cot.

 

They are located on the same site as Bluebell and Blackberry Cottages, Primrose Cottage and our private marina.

 

Each lodge features its own private garden area complete with a wooden gazebo — ideal for outdoor dining or unwinding after a day of exploring. Guests also benefit from dedicated parking beside each lodge.

 

Accessed through secure electronic gates, the lodges are tucked away approximately 100 metres from the road, ensuring a quiet and safe environment. This makes them especially suitable for families with children and well-behaved pets, who are very welcome.

Our rates include everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay — bed linen and towels, electricity, central heating, a basket of logs for the fire, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Each lodge is also thoughtfully equipped with essential items such as cling film, tin foil, bin bags, washing-up liquid, salt, and pepper.

Woodland Lodges are available for a minimum stay of two nights, increasing to three nights during bank holidays and peak holiday periods. Throughout July and August, arrivals and departures are scheduled for Mondays and Fridays only, ensuring a smooth and well-organised experience for all guests.

For larger groups, our Woodland Lodges are conveniently located side by side, making them ideal for families or friends holidaying together.

Layout

Each Woodland Lodge sleeps up to four guests, plus a baby in a cot. There is a king-size double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with ample storage, sharing a modern shower room. A cot and high chair are provided in every lodge.

The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area is bright and spacious. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker, hob, and oven. A separate utility room with washer dryer adds extra convenience.

The living area offers comfortable seating, a wood-burning stove, and a Smart TV. French doors open onto a private patio with outdoor furniture and a charcoal barbecue. Each lodge also features a wooden gazebo, and a wood-fired hot tub can be set up for private use.

Linen, towels, and essential supplies are all included to ensure a hassle-free stay.

Well-behaved pets are welcome. Guests can also enjoy the private marina, with space to leave your own boat. From April to September, complimentary kayaks, paddles, and buoyancy aids are provided.

MAKING A BOOKING

We will provisionally hold your booking request for five days to allow time for you to complete our online booking form and pay a deposit or full balance.

 

If your stay is over four weeks away, a deposit of £100 is required to confirm your booking, with the remaining balance payable four weeks before your arrival date.

If your stay is within four weeks of your arrival date, the full balance is payable at the point of booking to confirm your stay.

 

A £100 security deposit is required alongside every booking, this is payable alongside your balance, before you come to stay. This is refundable on your departure provided the accommodation is left in a reasonable manner with no unnecessary breakages.

  • Stayed here at the Oak lodge for 4 nights and I can honestly say it was amazing the oak lodge is modern with a abstract twist spacious rooms and tastefully decorated venues are of woodland 2 min walk to lake. The owner Dawn was fantastic and very welcoming. Great stop for exploring enniskillen and surrounding areas highly recommend Fermanagh lodges.

  • We stayed for 4 nights in mid September in the newly built Oak Lodge. All furniture and furnishings are of the highest quality and the Lodge is equipped with everything you could need. A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and fridge freezer. Constant hot water, plenty of good quality cooking utensils and dishware and a utility room with a washer/dryer. The beds are very comfortable and although there is a wood burning stove we didn't need it as there are also radiators which heated the rooms very quickly. Wi-fi is also available. We were lucky to stay during good weather and the picnic style table and benches were great for eating outdoors. Dawn and Maeve are great hosts and strive to ensure a great stay for all their guests. We will certainly return.

  • Arrived for a 4 day fishing stay. On arrival we had the warmest of welcomes from Maeve, she was a hive of information and nothing was a bother for her. The house was furnished to the highest of standards and the most comfy bed I’ve ever slept in. Spotlessly clean and had everything you could ever need. Great location for fishing everything on your door step. The only down side is that I don’t want to go home. Thank you for letting us stay and we will definitely be back...if you’ll have us. I honestly cannot recommend the place enough. 5 stars all the way

  • We are just back from a 3 night stay in the newly built oak lodge. I can honestly say we had the best time here as a family with 2 children. The place was spotless with everything that we needed in the lodge. We spent most evenings on the patio with a BBQ going. We were only a short walk from the marina where we spent time in the mornings with our Paddle board and swimming ?‍ the kids loved jumping into the marina. We made use of a little boat for the day to explore the Lough (the kids loved learning to steer and navigate around the Lough) We will definitely be back to explore some more of the Lough. The owners were so helpful and nothing was a bother at all ? so helpful and friendly. If you want to getaway for some peace and tranquility then this is definitely the place to go. This will be somewhere we will return to time and time again. Thanks to all at Fermanagh lodges for making our staycation one remember. The kids are already asking when are we going back!

  • Wonderful welcome on arrival and a beautiful place to stay in. We stayed in the Elm lodge and it was perfect. a great spot close to some excellent fishing on the Erne. Will definitely be coming here every year from now on. Couldn't reccomend it highly enough. Five stars all the way!!
