With every booking at Fermanagh Lodges, from April to September, included in your stay at no extra charge, are sit on top kayaks. All of our self catering accommodation has direct access to Upper Lough Erne, and there is no better way to explore the lough than by paddle power.
Sit on top kayaking is a great activity and suitable for all the family. Our kayaks, paddles and buoyancy aids are self service so you can use them at any time during your stay – weather permitting of course! You don’t need a wetsuit for kayaking, as due to the large stable nature of the sit on top kayaks, you are unlikely to fall in, so we recommend just some old clothes, as your bum might get a bit damp!
Most of our kayaks are doubles, meaning you can take to the water with a paddling pal, or if you prefer to paddle by yourself, you can sit comfortably in the middle of the kayak.
More information is provided with each booking, why not paddle around our marina to get your eye in, and then venture to Trannish Island for a picnic, Inish Rath island to visit the Hara Krishna’s or the Share Discovery Village for an ice cream!
