Fermanagh Lodges offers 19ft Lough Erne fishing boats with 6hp engines, ideal for anglers exploring the rich fishing waters of Upper Lough Erne.
Fishing Boats hire includes anchors and oars as well as water proof containers and laminated maps. Each boat comes with a full tank of unleaded fuel.
Our boats can be left in our 30 berth marina on site for your use from your cottage. There is ample car parking available at the marina, and each of our cottages have access to outdoor storage for fishing equipment.
Picture here is Raymond and a pike caught less than 1km from our marina, towards the Lady Craigavon Bridge. Raymond hails from Newry and is a regular on our fishing holiday deals, where accommodation and boat hire is provided as a package.
Susan Ruddy is another of our regulars who stays in our self catering accommodation, and bring their own fishing boat with them to fish from. Your boat can be left in our private 30 berth marina for the duration of your stay. Upper Lough Erne with its maze of channels, islands, inlets and extensive reed beds provides ideal habitats for pike. Pike are both prolific and large in size and a wide range of well known methods of Pike fishing can all be successfully deployed.
Navigation in this extensive waterways is simplified with numbers being placed on each navigation mark and so extensive are the waterways you can fish bays and inlets for a whole day with only your own company.
The Lough offers excellent opportunities for bream fishing and there are some fantastic roach, hybrids and perch fishing, indeed the waters of Lough Erne offer some of the best angling for pike, roach and bream in Europe. If you are coming from Europe to fish with us, we are happy to organise permits and fishing licences for you.

A wonderful brown trout, caught by Mick Fleming from Dublin, on his first outing for pike on Lough Erne. It was as caught on a rubber perch lure trolled behind the boat. This fish was returned to water as it’s out of trout fishing season but shows you what’s out there – caught just off Trannish Island, opposite our holiday cottages.
Paul Piton and his friends visit us from France every year to fish (very successfully) for pike. We can offer up to three 17ft fishing boats for hire and guest staying in accommodation with us can utilise the marina to fish from.Yes, anglers must have a valid fishing permit. These can be purchased direct from NI Direct.
Our 19ft Lough Erne boats comfortably accommodate two or three anglers.
Yes, fishing buoyancy aids are provided and included in the charge. Buoyancy aids must be worn at all times.
Boat hire is primarily available for guests but may be available to others depending on availability.
