Cygnet Lodge

Cygnet Lodge stands on its own lakeside site with extensive gardens. Tree Top Apartments are located on the same site, and Bluebell and Blackberry Cottages, Primrose Cottage and our Woodland Lodges are located just down the road.

 

Cygnet Lodge has direct access to Upper Lough Erne and beautiful outdoor patio area with large outdoor kitchen and hireable wood fired hot tub. The Lodge provides self catering accommodation for eight people plus a baby in a cot across four bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Layout

On the ground floor are the utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, separate WC off rear hall, spacious open plan kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your self catering needs and has a dishwasher, microwave etc. Patio doors lead to the gardens and large patio area where there is a large outdoor kitchen area with wood fired hot tub. There are picnic tables, outdoor chairs and charcoal barbeque. Please note there is an extra charge for use of the wood fired hot tub.

 

The extensive gardens lead to the lake shore perfect for enjoying sunny evenings. The Lodge comes with a complimentary sit on top kayaks, paddles and buoyancy aids from April to September.

 

Upstairs the master bedroom is ensuite with a king sized bed. There is a twin ensuite room and a further twin room with a separate bathroom off the landing. A cot and high chair are available for use and there is a Smart TV with included Netflix and Disney+ accounts (there is no Live TV function), wireless internet and Google Home.

 

The lodge is equipped with all linen and towels and basic supplies such as dishwasher tablets, cling-film, tin foil etc. There is private parking for four cars with a woodland behind the house.

 

Well behaved pets are very welcome. Guests bringing their own boat are welcome to leave it in the private marina located at our other site nearby.

Pricing

Our prices include all bed linen and towels, electricity, central heating, basket of logs for the fire, wireless internet and the lodge is equipped with basic supplies such as cling film, tin foil, bin bags, fairy liquid, salt and pepper etc.

 

Cygnet Lodge is a minimum hire of 2 nights, and at bank holidays and holiday periods 3 nights. During July and August Cygnet Lodge can only be rented Saturday to Saturday.

 

Cygnet Lodge is located on the same site as Tree Top Apartments allowing for larger groups to be accommodated. It is located 1km from our other site and private marina. Check out Cygnet Lodge’s special offers here.

MAKING A BOOKING

We will provisionally hold your booking request for five days to allow time for you to complete our online booking form and pay a deposit or full balance.

 

If your stay is over four weeks away, a deposit of Β£100 is required to confirm your booking, with the remaining balance payable four weeks before your arrival date.

If your stay is within four weeks of your arrival date, the full balance is payable at the point of booking to confirm your stay.

 

A Β£100 security deposit is required alongside every booking, this is payable alongside your balance, before you come to stay. This is refundable on your departure provided the accommodation is left in a reasonable manner with no unnecessary breakages.

  • This is a great place to spend a relaxing weekend with family or friends. As usual the cottage was spotless, ready for our visit. The weather was very mild for the time of the year so the huge basket of logs left for us remained unburnt. Because we had stayed at Cygnet Lodge before, and knew how well equipped it is, we were able to travel light. Usually self-catering means having to β€˜make do’ or bring loads of things with you but Dawn’s cottages have pretty much eveything you will need. We are already looking forward to our next visit

  • We had 3 cottages for a week for a large (22 people) family get together. The houses were all lovely; clean, comfortable, well-equipped and incredibly spacious. A few stand-out features were: The beautiful master bedrooms with ensuite and large balcony. The large decking area, perfect for relaxing in the evening. The frankly huge living room/kitchen. And our particular favourite, the loughshore and jetty 5 mins walk away. A beautiful sunset over the lake every evening. Outdoor activities are available at the centre 5 minutes away, there are many fantastic sightseeing trips within an hour’s drive and for peace and quiet just sit on the balcony and chill out. The owners are friendly and very accommodating, helping to make it a wonderful holiday for everyone.
