January is here, and it’s the perfect time to start planning your 2026 family holiday.

If you’re dreaming of fresh air, lake views, and plenty of space to relax, why not book a stay with us at Fermanagh Lodges? To help you get inspired, we’ve put together our Top 10 Reasons to Stay With Us in 2026!

At Fermanagh Lodges, we offer a wide range of self-catering accommodation across two beautiful sites—located less than half a mile apart. Whether you’re planning a cosy escape for two, a getaway for four or eight, or a large gathering of up to 30 guests, we have the perfect space waiting for you.

Explore our accommodation options, including Cygnet Lodge, Bluebell and Blackberry Cottages, Primrose Cottage, Woodland Lodges, and the Tree Top Apartments to find the ideal setting for your next adventure.

Number 1 – Proudly Pet Friendly!

A family holiday just isn’t complete without your four-legged companions—after all, they’re often the favourite family member! At Fermanagh Lodges, we welcome pets in all of our accommodation, and we never charge extra for bringing them along.

To help keep our spaces comfortable for everyone, we simply ask that pets stay out of the bedrooms and upstairs areas, and that you clean up after your furry friends—both inside and throughout the grounds.

Because holidays are better when the whole family comes along. 🐾

Number 2 – Family Friendly Accommodation

From the tiniest travellers to the most senior members of your clan, everyone is welcome at Fermanagh Lodges. Each of our properties comes equipped with a cot and high chair, making life easier for those visiting with little ones.

For older family members—or anyone who prefers to avoid stairs—we’ve ensured comfort and accessibility with ramp access and a downstairs bedroom and bathroom in all of our accommodation.

And for children who need to burn off some energy, our main site features a small playpark, the perfect spot for fun between adventures.

Fermanagh Lodges is designed with the whole family in mind—so no one misses out on the holiday memories.

Number 3 – Stunning Access to Upper Lough Erne

Every one of our accommodation options offers easy access to the breathtaking Upper Lough Erne. Start your day with a peaceful stroll to the lakeshore, soak up the morning sun, or take a refreshing dip in the clear waters.

Nature lovers will be right at home too—keep your eyes peeled for our charming red squirrels, the occasional pine marten, and, if you’re very lucky, an elusive otter gliding by.

It’s the perfect blend of tranquillity, wildlife, and natural beauty—just moments from your doorstep.

Number 4 – Complimentary Sit on top Kayaks

From April to September, every booking at Fermanagh Lodges includes complimentary use of our sit-on-top kayaks, along with buoyancy aids and paddles. It’s one of the very best ways to explore the beauty of Upper Lough Erne—and a brilliant way to keep both big and little kids entertained at no extra cost.

The kayaks are completely self-service, so you’re free to head out on the water whenever it suits you—weather permitting, of course! Whether you’re gliding along the shoreline or paddling out for a family adventure, it’s the perfect addition to your stay.

Number 5 – Cosy in by the fire

After a day packed with adventures around Co. Fermanagh, there’s nothing better than sinking into a comfy seat and lighting the fire. Every one of our properties features a wood-burning stove, perfect for creating that warm, relaxing holiday glow.

We also include a complimentary basket of logs with every booking, so you can settle in, unwind, and enjoy those peaceful lodge evenings without lifting a finger.

Number 6 – Private Marina

Bring your boat with you! We have a private 30 berth marina, so you can bring your boat on your holidays with you. Whether it is to go fishing and catch some giant pike, or blow the cobwebs off with a water-ski, you can bring your boat along and put it into our marina at no extra cost. Our nearest slipway is Corradillar Quay, located 500 yards from Fermanagh Lodges.

Number 7 – Fire up the BBQ

Make the most of the fresh Fermanagh air by firing up the charcoal BBQ and relaxing outside. Each property is equipped with plenty of outdoor furniture, giving you the perfect spot to enjoy a meal, soak up the scenery, or simply lounge in the garden.

While sunshine is not guaranteed, we’ve thought ahead—umbrellas or gazebos are provided to help you enjoy the outdoors in comfort, whatever the weather brings!

Number 8 – Fully Equipped for Self Catering

We’ve taken the stress out of self-catering so you can focus on enjoying your break. Alongside a wide range of crockery, cutlery, and kitchen essentials, you’ll also find thoughtful extras including cling film, tin foil, bin bags, dishwasher tablets, salt, pepper, tea bags, coffee, and more.

Just bring yourselves and your food—you’ll have everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Number 9 – Location, location, location!

Our ideal location makes it easy to explore everything Co. Fermanagh and the surrounding area have to offer. We’re just 3 miles from Lisnaskea, a lively town with all the shops and essentials you’ll need during your stay.
